…and this for the rubbish pile up, was fun to make something different.

I made a paper cut for this one too,

Once I had completed all of the articles I printed them out back to back and bound on some nice paper:)

on some pages I allowed myself extra space so my pictures were clear.

More recently we are entering competitions, my one being the panmacmillans prize so I have to illustrate a children’s book.

This is something I haven’t done much before, my friend Becca Butcher is writing the story to go with it, and so far all I know is that it is set in Autumn, with a tomboy young girl and a Springer Spaniel called Freddie.  I only found this out yesterday, so this is my first practice image, the rest of my sketchbooks a mess..

I do quite like it, but it needs some work doing to it. And I am yet to draw the dog, Freddie.
